My Review:
This is the first book by J.C. Carter that I’ve read. As soon a I reas the blurb it’s immediately caught my attention. Brother’s best friend but done a little differently sounded so good. I really, really wanted to love this book, but it was just ok. I’m not sure if it was due to the writing style but it fell a little flat for me.
Anna’s best friend Spencer gets Anna to ask out her brother Blake, in order for her to be able to date as well. Anna was an okay character. I didn’t connect with her. Blake was a cutie. It was a sweet story, so maybe it was just me. I didn’t really care for Blake’s sister Spencer.
