Star cross lovers? Enemies to friends to lovers? Fake boyfriend? This book is the best mix of them all.
Evan and Seth have known each other forever. They grew up together, with their parents running a bagel shop together. After their fathers had a epic falling out, these two no longer were allowed to speak.
I loved this story. Seth has always been on of my favorite characters in this series. He’s funny, sweet and a hottie! While he always fights with Evan when he sees her, you can tell there is an underlying attraction there. They have the more intense chemistry when they are together. Evan is great. I really liked her character. She’s so loyal to her family, running their bagel shop since her parents can’t.
I wasn’t able to put this boom down. Before I knew it I was almost done. While Seth may have always been the” funny one” there is so much more to him. He’s officially claimed a part of my heart.
Their story is now officially my favorite in the series, although I feel like I say that with every book. Piper Rayne’s books get better and better. I’m in love with their writing. This duo creates worlds I want to live in! I cannot wait for the next book!
