Release Blitz+ Review: Forsaken Trail by Devney Perry

Forsaken Trail by Devney Perry is now live!

Aria Saint-James has planned the perfect getaway: sweatpants, takeout and two weeks alone with her sister and nephew. Nowhere on that list is wearing a low-cut dress and uncomfortable heels to attend a wedding where she knows neither the bride nor the groom. Toss in her nemesis, Brody Carmichael, and her road trip to Arizona is officially a bust.
But at least there is champagne.
She blames the bubbly for falling into bed with Brody that night. Enemy or no, the billionaire is irresistible in a tux. But after their one-night tryst, Aria has no choice but to cut her vacation short, returning home to escape his devilish smile, vowing never to see Brody again.
Except Aria gets a surprise a few weeks later--she's pregnant. When he learns that she's carrying his child, Brody offers Aria the chance of a lifetime. The catch? She has to live under his roof until the baby is born.
Either they'll kill each other in nine months. Or discover love buried beneath their hate.

My Review

Forsaken Trail is the latest book by Devney Perry in the Runaway Series. This series is a huge favorite of mine. Each book I fall more in love with these characters. I love the concept of it. With this story we get a accidental pregnancy between two people that can barely stand each other.

I love Aria and Brody so much. These two are the ultimate enemies to lovers, although all that hate seems to be pent up sexual attraction each is denying. Aria takes the Cadillac to her twin Clara in Arizona, and Clara works for Brody and lives on his

property. While she loved Clara and her nephew, she hated visiting because she hated being around Brody. Now as fate would have it, after stepping in for Clara, and goes to a wedding with Brody. After hours of an actual good time, they end up together and bam Aria finds out she’s pregnant.

Watching these two navigate living together while trying to get along Is so fun. I love how these two slowly realize their feelings for each other. Both a stubborn but love hard and fierce. Forsaken Trail is another fabulous book by Devney Perry that I never wanted to end!

New Release + Review: Campus Player by Jennifer Sucevic

Release Date: December 26

Trust me when I say that Rowan Michaels fever is

alive and well at Western University. His fanbase is

legendary.

The guy is a major player.  Both on and off the field.

Girls fall all over themselves to be with him. They fill the

stands at football practice, show up at parties he’s rumored to

be at, and basically stalk him around campus.

It’s a little nauseating.

Don’t these girls have any self-respect when it comes to a hot

guy?

Fine...I’ll admit it, he’s good looking. If you’re into that kind of

thing. Which I’m not. I’ve got school and soccer to keep me

busy which is exactly why I avoid him like an unfortunate clap

diagnosis.

Too bad for me that Rowan is my father’s star quarterback. He’s practically part of

the family, attending Wednesday night dinners with us. To make matters worse,

we’re in the same major and get stuck together in classes every semester. It’s like

the universe is trying to play a cosmic joke on me. The one guy I’d like to steer clear

of is the very same one I can’t seem to get away from.

But what if Rowan isn’t the manwhore I pegged him to be?

What if one little secret has the capability to change everything between us?

*This is a mature New Adult novel with strong language and sexual situations

intended for readers over the age of 18*

My Review:

Campus Player is the first book I’ve read by Jennifer Sucevic. I really enjoyed it. Her writing completely kept me interested. There was no parts that I felt dragged on. I found that there were other parts of the book that I was invested in, other than Rowen and Demi. But those other parts never outshined the couple, if that makes sense.

I loved that this was a dual POV. When we finally get to Rowen’s POV I already had made assumptions about him. He completely shattered them, because all is not what it seems with him. He’s just the sweetest, nicest guy. There is so much more that meets the eye. I liked Demi as well. I loved their banter together.

I will definitely be checking out more of her books!!
