Blog Tour: Save the Date by Monica Murphy
Save the Date was such a light, fun read. It’s the perfect beach or pool side book.
It was a bit of a second chance romance...but only kind of. Alex and Caroline knee each other as kids, and were each other’s first kiss, at age 14 and 12. After that they never saw each other again.
Many, many years later, they meet up again, but he’s engaged to another women. While it may sound a little scandalous for Alex and Caroline, it’s really not. His fiancée is a cheat. Enter the possibility of more for Alex and Caroline.
They are so easy with each other. I like how they just fit. They have great chemistry and sexual tension is off the charts. I loved how Caroline’s friends are true friends and there for her no matter what. They try to always lift each other up, which is sometimes a rare thing for women.
The story was great, the writing was excellent as always. I love all of Monica Murphy’s books!
Blog Tour: The Accidental Girlfriend by Emma Hart
The Accidental Girlfriend, an all-new hilarious romantic comedy from New York Times bestselling author Emma Hart is available now!
Emma Hart has done it again!! The Accidental Girlfriend is not only laugh out loud funny but it’s super fun and sweet. Fake romances are a turning into some one my favorite reads. Like with Four Day Fling, Emma completely outdid herself! I could not put this book down!
I fell in love with Mason and Lauren. Lauren was a bit quirky and sarcastic but not overly so. It was just the right amount to make her..cute. Her character was thoughtful and sweet, even though she really tried hard not to show it. Mason was a dream. Hard working and he knew how to handle a bunch of nutty people. His family was one of a kind.
The Accidental Girlfriend definitely left me feeling all warm and fuzzy. I didn’t want it to end. Emma Hart has such a talent for writing rom coms that a just the perfect amount of crazy!!
Blog Tour: Teardrop Shot by Tijan
Teardrop Shot, an all-new sexy and angst filled sports romance from New York Times bestselling author Tijan is available now!
Teardrop Shot was my very first Tijan book. I was completely blown away! I started the book expecting some friends turn lovers sports romance. Well, I got that plus so much more! This story was full of laughter but al so emotional and heartbreaking. I wasn’t expecting to tear up and have so many feels!
Charlie’s personality is full on quirky. She was an odd little duck but it completely worked for her. She had so much heartbreak underneath and was hiding it from everyone. And she was obsessed with basketball. She loved it and Reese Forster.
Meeting Reese was completely unexpected. Spending time with him and becoming friends was as well. But for me, they fit. Reese may have been a hot shot, super fantastic player but had his own baggage as well.
Together, this pair was perfectly broken together. I loved them together and I loved them separately. My heart broke for each of their struggles. I laughed and cried within such a short time span. My emotions where all over the place. But I loved every second of it. I loved this book so much and never wanted it to end. Tijan’s writing flowed so perfectly. The story was so well written. A perfect 5 star read for me!

"A fantastically fun, HOT love story." - Kendall Ryan, New York Times bestselling author

I love this world that Avery Flynn has created! The Ice Knights game and Harbor City is on my wish list of places I wish I could travel too!
Imagine your parents picked your next date. I know I’d probably hate it. Giving up complete power. Caleb, however, has no choice. The concept of this book is so unique and I loved every minute of it!
This was such a fun, light read. Caleb and Zara’s banter is great. They have great chemistry and they become actual friends. Each is forced to be on the dates, but they have fun anyway. Which was not what either were expecting. It truly was a laugh out loud book. Let’s not forget the ultimate scene stealer, Anchovy! He’s hilarious and smart.
I’m so glad there are going to be more books in the series!. I love all the characters! This is one book not to be missed
Excerpt:
“So why are you on Bramble?” She took another small bite from her roll before answering. “My best friend is blackmailing me, and my dad wants a SAG card.” That was definitely not the answer he’d been expecting. “And I thought my reasoning was twisted.” “I’m sure it all makes sense in Gemma’s head,” Zara said. “She thinks I work too much and need to loosen up. She’ll let me be her plus-one to go meet a collector if I do the Bramble five dates thing. And my dad? Well, let’s just say he’s never met an unlikely plan he didn’t think he could pull off.” All the possibilities this created sped around inside his head until one broke free like a perfect fast break late in the third period when the game was on the line. All he had to do was put the biscuit in the net. “So neither of us really wants to be here,” he said. “We’re each other’s solution to getting back to our regular lives as soon as possible.” It was fucking perfect. Petrov’s job with the team would be safe for another season—well, as safe as he could be, considering he didn’t have a no-trade deal in his contract. Zara, though, didn’t seem to be seeing the genius of it, going by the suspicious look she gave him as she took another bite of her roll. Instead of giving him a straight-up no, though, she started eating. The words—okay, begging pleas—were bubbling up inside him but for once, he kept it in lockdown. He wasn’t about to rush this play, no matter how it had every nerve in his body jinglejangling. Finally, she used her napkin to wipe the corners of her mouth, straightened her spine, and looked him dead in the eye. “We’d have to have ground rules.” “Sure. Whatever you want.” Ice Knights season tickets? He’d make that happen. A photo op with her dad’s favorite player? Done. Whatever it took, he’d do it. “This isn’t a real or fake relationship, it’s a temporary alliance,” she said without an ounce of humor in her tone. “I’m not pretending to be your girlfriend or the random chick you’re banging this week.” “Agreed.” All of that sounded like it would cause more problems than it would solve anyway. “I’ve got a condition. Dressing up is not required. I’m not putting on a suit.” The best thing about the off-season was not having to strangle himself with a tie multiple times a week just for a bus ride to the rink or a plane trip to another city. Coach Peppers was old-fashioned about doing things the original way. “Fine.” Zara held up three fingers. “The third stipulation is that I’m not putting on a good attitude. If it’s been a crappy day, I don’t have to pretend to be a manic pixie dream girl.” He snorted. “No one who’s met you would believe that. You’re a little salty.” That was putting it mildly based on her attitude when she showed up for their date. “I have my reasons.” She added another finger, so she was holding up four. “Oh, and no making love. Sex?” She paused and looked him over quickly. “Maybe. Emotional, heartfelt, staring-each-other-in-the-eyes making love? Not gonna happen. No offense, but you’re not my type.” What the hell? Not her type? He was a professional athlete making millions. He’d been led to believe he was everyone’s type. “Not a problem, since I don’t think we could see eye to eye while having sex unless you magically grew a foot,” he said. “You’re not into being creative?” Zara rolled her eyes. “I guess that’s expected for someone who has probably had women throwing themselves at him for years. You haven’t ever had to work for it.” Caleb had no idea what to say to that. He’d been punched square in the face by the most feared goons in hockey and it hadn’t knocked him as senseless as this little five-foot-nothing of a snarky woman had done with a few choice words. “I have one more rule,” she said, reaching for another roll. “Five dates and we’re done. Period. Do we have a deal?”Blog Tour: Written With You by Aly Martinez
“Aly Martinez is one of the best in the business. You have to read her books.” --Meghan March, New York Times Bestselling Author
Written With You, the emotional and highly anticipated conclusion to The Regret Duet from USA Today bestselling author Aly Martinez, is available now!
Speechless!! This book left me without words. Written with You was more than I could have ever hoped for in a conclusion to Written with Regret. That cliffhanger blew my mind. It was a twist that I never saw coming and I thought that was the only one in the duet. Man oh man was I wrong.
After reading this book, I was left speechless. I loved this book more than words can say. Aly's writing is absolutely breathtaking. The Regret Duet has sealed itself has my favorite book this year! (Yes i know its 2 but I don't care if I'm cheating lol) There is no way not to be in love with these characters. Everyone is amazing, the storyline is truly unique. There is pain and heartbreak, but also love, healing and forgiveness. I know without a shadow of a doubt that this duet will be one I can't get out of my mind.
If you haven't started reading these book, drop everything and get time. You will not be disappointed!!
Blog Tour: On The Rocks by Kandi Steiner
I have such a weakness for small town romances. There’s something about them that makes me what to pack my bags and move. On the Rocks definitely gave me all those vibes.
There’s something about Kandi’s writing that just sucks you in. We get everything that defines she writing: emotion, angst and love. Kandi is the first author I think of when I recommend an angst book with all the feels.
In On The Rocks you will not be disappointed. Ruby Grace is young and raised to be, well a good little politicians wife. She just does as expected but of course she has her own aspirations that she knows have to die. Enter Noah Becker. Noah is suppose to be trouble. But he’s actually the only one in Ruby Grace’s life that is truthful. He opens her eyes to what she can truly be. His relationship with him brothers and mom is so loving and close knit.
Kandi has done it again with a book that will touch your heart. Even better, was the ending. It’s one that is a little unique in my eyes and it made me love the book even more.
