The Red Zone FOR WEB.jpg
They say the red zone is the hardest place to score.
But for me, those last twenty yards were my sweet spot.
They didn't call me Lukas "Last Minute Lucy" Callihan for nothing.
I was at the top of my game...until life sacked me harder than any linebacker ever could.
Losing my mom was devastating and left me as the sole person responsible for my little sister.
Taking care of Ella and juggling my career was like playing the hardest game of my life.
My only saving grace was Scarlett Knox, Ella's sexy, red-headed, no-nonsense teacher.
She loved Ella. She hated me.
She thought I sucked at this parenting thing, and she wasn’t wrong.
But whenever she was around I got the same earth-shattering, heart-stopping feeling I did when I was only twenty yards from the goal line.
She made me feel like I was back in the red zone, a place I’d never fumbled.
Until now.

Blog Tour: Written With Regret by Aly Martinez

WWR - BT banner.jpg

Written With Regret, the first in an all-new emotional duet from USA Today bestselling author Aly Martinez, is available now!

WW Regret FOR WEB
Every little girl dreams of the fairytale. The one where the white knight rushes in to save her from the clutches of evil. They fall in love, have babies, and live happily ever after.
By that definition, my life should have been a fairytale too.
When I was eight years old, Caven Hunt saved me from the worst kind of evil to walk the Earth. It didn’t matter that I was a kid. I fell in love with him all the same.
But that was where my fairytale ended.
Years later, a one-night stand during the darkest time imaginable gave us a little girl. It was nothing compared to the pitch black that consumed me when I was forced to leave her with Caven for good.
At the end of every fairytale, the happily-ever-after is the one thing that remains consistent. It wasn’t going to be mine, but there hadn’t been a night that passed where I hadn’t prayed that it would be hers.
I owed Caven my life.
However, I owed that innocent child more.
And that included ripping the heart from my chest and facing her father again.

My 6 Star Review:

Omg!! I need the second book stat!!! That freaking ending!!! Holy Smokes!!!

Ok so this books left me with sooo many questions. This book sucks you in from the very beginning. There is so much emotion throughout the whole story. The pain from the past rests within both Caven and Hadley. I feel like this review is going to be all over the place, because that’s how I feel. I’m reeling from the ending.

Let me back up just a bit. Cavan is such a wonderful man. He’s smart and loving. He’s worked so hard to overcome his past. When we see Cavan with his daughter, it just makes your heart melt. She has her daddy wrapped around her little finger.

I didn’t want to like Hadley at all. I was set in hating her and thinking she was a horrible person. But I couldn’t help but love her. She’s funny and so wonderfully weird. No one but her frisky knows what she was thinking when she left, but she did come back. And you can tell she truly loves Rosalee.

Cavan does not want her around at all, and it’s so justified. But OMG the sexual tension is so off the chart HOT!!

I loved this book!! It is Aly Martinez’s best work to date!! Her writing is incredible. She has a was of invoking so many different emotions from me. There were so many moments I was left speechless. That ending?! Gah!!! I need book two like yesterday!

It deserves all the stars!! My first 6 star read of the year!!!

Excerpt:

Life had never been easy for me. Chaos had been following me like a dark cloud, looming and hovering, casting its shadow far and wide despite how bright the path in front of me should have appeared. After growing up the way I had, where happiness had been more of a privilege than a choice, I knew better than to believe that that moment would be anything other than fleeting.
And one second later, the universe proved me right.
I opened the door to see who had rung the bell—a cursory check revealed an empty hallway.
And that’s when I heard it: the sound that changed not only my entire life in the present, but my life for all future days to come.
At first, it was just a grunt, but as if that baby could feel my gaze, the minute my eyes made contact, it let out a sharp cry.
Confusion hit me like a lightning bolt, sending me back a step. I used the door frame for balance as I took in the yellow blanket with a hole only big enough to reveal a pale-pink face.
“What the fuck?” I breathed. Glancing around the hall, I waited for someone to jump out and start laughing. When no one spoke up to issue a punchline, I took a step closer and repeated, “What the fuck?”
I was utterly unable to process the absurdity in front of me.
Of course, I knew the facts.
It was a baby.
On my doorstep.
Alone.
But the why in that equation was glaringly absent.
“Uhhh,” Ian drawled, peering over my shoulder. “Why is there a kid at your door?”
“I have no idea,” I replied, staring down at the squirming and now-screaming bundle. “It was just there when I opened the door.”
Ian shoved me to the side so he could stand beside me. “You’re shitting me, right?”
“Does it look like I’m shitting you?”
He looked from me to the baby, then back again. “How did it get there?”
We were two incredibly smart men who had created a technology empire out of nothing. But, clearly, a baby was too big for either of us to wrap our minds around.
I swept an arm out and pointed to the kid. “I have no clue, but I’m assuming it didn’t catch a cab.”
A light of understanding hit his eyes. He moved first, stepping over the crying baby and hurrying down the hall, searching around the corner near the elevator before returning alone.
The party continued behind me, but even with the door open, the loud chatter was no match for the ear-piecing cries happening in that hallway.
Veronica suddenly appeared beside me, her body going solid as she stammered out. “Is that…a baby?”
“Back up,” I urged, throwing my arm out to block her path as though the infant were going to suddenly morph into a rabid animal. And let’s be honest, I knew nothing about babies. Anything was possible.
Ian dropped to his knees, scooping up the wailing child. Meanwhile, I stood there like a gawking idiot, paralyzed by a weight I didn’t yet understand.
“Call the pol—” He stopped abruptly and reached into the top of the child’s blanket. “Oh shit,” he whispered, his wide, panic-filled eyes flashing to mine.
“What?” I asked, stepping toward him to get a better look at the kid. Only it wasn’t that tiny baby cradled in his arms that made my heart stop and bile rise in my throat.
There, in my best friend’s hand, was a folded piece of notebook paper that had been tucked into the child’s blanket. From the looks of it, the paper was unremarkable in every sense of the word. Blue lines, white spaces, hanging remnants from where it had been haphazardly ripped from a spiral bound notebook. Even the crease was crooked. But it was my name scrawled on the outside in messy, black ink that made it the most remarkable paper in existence.
I snatched it from his hand and, with blood roaring in my ears, opened it.
Caven,
I’m sorry. I never meant for this to happen. This is our daughter Keira. I’ll love her forever. Take care of her the way I can’t.
Written with regret,
Hadley
The hall began to spin, my head feeling like every ounce of blood had been drained from my body. The thundering in my ears faded and the loud chatter of my guests, who were suddenly aware that something was happening at the door, roared to life.
And then the chaos finally found me all over again—the past playing out in my head like my life flashing before my eyes.
I sucked in a deep breath and looked at the baby in his arms. The blanket had fallen off its head just enough to reveal a patch of fine hairs, more orange than its mother’s red.
“Call the police,” I declared, turning on a toe and walking back into my apartment, leaving Ian standing in the hall with Hadley’s child.
Shoving through the crowd of concerned onlookers, I headed straight to the bottles of liquor lining the counter. I didn’t bother with ice or even a glass. I threw back that bottle of vodka, hoping like hell the burn of the alcohol could numb the panic coursing through my veins.
Through it all, that baby never stopped crying.

My Review:

Ahh Rex and Chloe are the sweetest, most fun couple I’ve read about in quite awhile. They just click together from the very beginning. It’s a little cliche with the one night stand man seeing a woman and he’s a goner...but it totally worked for me. There’s something about Rex that screams that’s not who he really is. That he’s truly a one woman man.

Chloe is so sweet and funny. I loved that she felt she could be herself completely. She doesn’t hold back. I loved her so much! The sexual tension is so strong between these two.

The entire book was so nice and refreshing. Just a couple getting to know each other. Yes, each has things in their past that they have trouble letting go, but it’s just a wonderful book. There’s not unneeded drama just for the sake of drama.

FFY-5.png

Excerpt:

“Rex?” “Hmm?” He won’t look at me. His grip on the steering wheel so tight his knuckles are turning white. He swallows so hard I can hear the gulp from where I’m sitting next to him. When I lay a hand on his forearm he almost jumps out of his seat. “You okay?” “Fine,” he croaks. “You don’t sound fine.” I almost start giggling because if I’m reading the situation correctly, he’s nervous about having sex with me. Or, maybe, just what my intentions are. Rex, the sexy bartender that every single female in town lusts over and many have slept with — which I refuse to think about — is hesitating. I know he wants to. His body language, actions and words have told me as much. When he kisses me, it’s real. It sounds simple, because it is. I’ve kissed other men. He’s kissed other women. But it’s never been like this for me. And I know it’s never been like this for him, either. I know that might make me sound arrogant or overconfident, but I’m not clueless. Nor am I insecure. His feelings toward me are obvious, he’s not hiding it in any way, and unless he’s the most devious person in the world, I think he’s just as turned on by my presence as I am with his. Which is at holy shit levels, if I’m being honest. I’m in a dang near constant state of arousal around him. We pull into my driveway and he cuts the engine. His left leg is propped against the door and aside from the constant tapping of his thumb against the steering wheel, he’s the picture of relaxation. “Just gonna sit out here all night?” I ask, already sensing his hesitation to come inside. I can also see how badly he’s battling with himself right now. To sex her. Or not to sex her. I think we’re on the same page here, though. It’s just going to be fun messing with him a little bit. He’s made it very clear that his past relationships have either ended horribly, by way of his brother, the ass, or by the night being over with. He’s also hinted he would like to see where this thing between us is going to go. For that to happen, we need to not have sex. At least not yet. Even though every molecule in my body is currently firing and screaming at me to HAVE SEX WITH THIS SEXY AS FUCK GUY ALREADY. Okay, so maybe I’m not as secure in my decision as I thought but hey, I know he isn’t either. I open my door and step down. “Come on, you big baby. I don’t bite.” Then before I close the door I pop my head back through the opening, “Unless you want me to.” I slam the door and run up the few stairs to my front door, quickly unlock it, and rush inside. I count to five and he’s already charging in after me. “You think you’re so funny, don’t you? Teasing me like this?” “Whatever do you mean?” “I’m in your head, gorgeous. I know what you’re thinking.”

My 5 Star  Review:

One Day!!! That’s how long it took me to devour this book!! Undeniable is officially my favorite book by Melanie Harlow. There’s nothing I didn’t love about this book!  Chloe is awesome!! Oliver is so sexy and just a little bit trouble. That what makes him so irresistible..

These two have insanely hot, off the charts sexual chemistry. After growing up together, since their moms are best friends, they always have these sparks once they’re older. The book flashed back from the past to the present. It’s perfectly written in my opinion. I loved getting a look at their history.

Undeniable is a cross between a second chance romance and enemies to lovers. It so wonderfully written. These Cloverleigh books are quickly becoming favorites of mine. Plus, that cover? It’s probably one of my favorites ever! The colors are simply gorgeous, as is the actual picture.

Undeniable - Teaser 4 AN

Excerpt:

Fueled by pent-up lust and scotch, we stumbled into Oliver’s room and tore at each other’s clothes. It was hot and rough and a little bit violent, as if we were furious we hadn’t been able to keep our hands to ourselves and wanted to take it out on one another’s bodies. We pushed and pulled and growled and grasped. We called each other names and cursed viciously. We knocked over a lamp and ripped Oliver’s shirt. When we finally exploded together, Oliver had me up against the door, and if our yelling didn’t wake the entire floor, then the pounding must have. I’d have bruises for days. Afterward, we collapsed on the bed, naked and sweaty and exhausted. “Oh my God,” I said. “I can’t believe we did that.” “I know. Me either.” “I think I pulled a muscle.” “I think you bit me. Am I bleeding?” I laughed. “No, but I hope you’re not seeing anyone. If you are, she’s going to wonder about all those scratches on your back.” “I’m not seeing anyone.” He paused. “Are you?” “No.” Neither of us moved for several minutes. When I caught myself falling asleep, I sat up. “I should go.” “Why? Just stay here.” I looked down at him. “You want me to stay?” “Yeah.” He opened his eyes. In the low light, they almost looked black instead of blue. “Spend the night with me.” I waited for it—the dirty joke, the excuse, the subtle dig—the reason he’d toss out for asking me to stay. It couldn’t just be that he wanted me here. But he didn’t say anything more. He just reached out and covered my hand with his. I looked at our hands for a moment, and a thousand memories came rushing back. Some good, some bad, but all us. I felt close to him, and I didn’t want to leave. “Okay. I’ll stay.” “Good.” He took off his watch and put it on the nightstand.

My Review:

Finally we get Gabe and Leigh’s story!! We’ve been getting little bits and pieces throughout this series of standalones.. I had to know more!! Fixing Us is the ultimate story of second chances..

Gabe and Leigh’s story begins when they are seniors in high school. Theirs story of on again off again spans over ten years. It’s impossible not to feel for Gabe. He lived through so much. But Leigh deserves so much more from him. No one else but him.

She ends up pregnant after saying it’s their last time together. Seeing them navigate being just friends, while so obviously attracted and in love with each other is so beautiful to read. I loved every moment of this book. I feel like I’ve been waiting forever for it, and trust me when I say it’s so worth the wait. It exceeded my expectations!!! By far, one of my favorite reads this year!!

It also left me wanting more. More of their story but most of Gabe’s roommate Milo!! I’m dying to read more  about him.

Fixing Us Teaser 5.jpg

Excerpt:

Finally, after what feels like a millennium, the door opens and Dr. Mallard enters, smiling. He’s an older man who is always overly happy. I like him, even if I find his cheerfulness somewhat off-putting at this exact second. “Mrs. Simms, how exciting to have you here today. This must be your husband.” He walks over to Gabe, who stands, hand extended. “Sorry, no,” I chime in. “Definitely not my husband.” “My fault,” he apologizes. “Your boyfriend. This is a new age. Lots of people in lifelong relationships nowadays without marriage.” Awkward. “Nope,” I say, popping my P with a bit more attitude than intended. “We aren’t together.” I look over at Gabe, who’s holding his laughter in and I silently yell Help me! “Just got her knocked up,” Gabe finally speaks. “Classic fairy tale story of ex-sex turning into a baby. Turns out those silly condoms serve a purpose and really shouldn’t be skipped. Who knew?” “Seriously!” I yell while shooting him daggers with my eyes. All he does to respond is shrug his shoulders and give me an evil grin. “Okay, Miss Simms, if you can lie back and put your feet up we can check on this little miracle,” Dr. Mallard finally says as the nurse pulls the stirrups out and helps me assume the position. Even if you don’t want your ex-boyfriend back you still always want them to think of you as the sexy one who got away, not the girl nude and exposed with her legs in the air while a doctor probes her. Great, fucking great. “Sure.” I lie back and my head jerks to Gabe. “But you stay north of the equator.” “Not a problem, Leigh.” He smiles at me. “But it ain’t nothing I haven’t seen before.” “Well, it’s definitely something you’re never seeing again,” I snap back at him, causing the nurse to let a small chuckle escape. I try to act cool by the fact that the doctor seems to think sticking a huge wand up me is perfectly normal. Thump thump. Thump thump. Our bickering immediately stops. The room is dark and the monitor next to me is lit up. “Is that—” Gabe starts. “That’s your baby’s heartbeat,” the doctor interrupts. “And if you look over here, you see that small little bean shape in the middle there.” He points to the picture on the ultrasound machine. “That’s your baby. It’s currently approximately the size of a raspberry.” “Wow,” Gabe and I both somehow say at the same time. We finish the appointment with a plethora of information. Gabe is quiet and the silliness that existed in the examination room is gone. We check out and walk side by side. Neither of us bringing up everything we need to discuss. Does him showing up mean he wants to be involved? Does he assume we will get back together? Can we even do this together? Do I want to? All the questions are running rampant in my head and instead of saying a single one of them I simply say, “I’ll let you know when I have another appointment.” “Thanks.” He holds the door to the building open, letting me walk outside, him close on my heels. “I want to be here for you and our child as best as I can.” I nod, but my mind is still back in that office with that beautiful baby. My baby. “We ought to talk, Leigh.” “You’re right. But today I got to hear my—our, baby’s heartbeat for the first time. Let’s not ruin it, okay?” We’re standing in the middle of the parking lot, neither of us moving to our respective vehicles. “Okay, but soon.”

But then I meet Chloe Conrad, and I suddenly understand what people mean when they say they have an instant connection to someone. Which means I’m in serious trouble. Chloe’s a smart, sexy distraction I can’t afford, but one date can’t hurt, right? Only she turns me down. And just like that, it’s game on.
She’s sworn off love…
Finn Auprince is the hottest player in the major leagues. Look up “It Factor” in the dictionary and there’s his handsome face. He’s also my biggest client and I don’t care how easy it is to talk to him or how fun it is to manage his social media accounts, I will not give in to his charms. Then one drunken night, I tell him about my curse: all my previous boyfriends have found their soul mates while dating me. One more heartbreak, and I’ll never recover. But Finn doesn’t believe in curses—he believes in me. Professionally and personally. He sets out to prove the universe isn’t against me, and that his one true love isn’t waiting around the next corner.
The problem is…can we play the game of love and both come out on top?

My Review:

My first book by Robin Bielman and I’m officially in love! With her writing and her characters!!!

I loved everything about Finn. From his love of the game to his love of his family. The relationship between him and his brothers is so great. Their banter back and forth is the best. His mom? A hoot!! Finn’s heart is enormous. I just loved him.

Chloe is his perfect match in my opinion. From their very first encounter to their meeting at work. You can tell they are going to be explosive!!! I love Chloe’s sexy athletic style. It fits her so well. Their friendship is one to be envied. And taking it to the next level should be a given...

The writing is excellent. The story develops in a way that you become lost in the words and don’t want to put it down!!! I love these brothers and cannot wait for the next book!!!

Excerpt:

“Smooth,”I say with a shake of my head. He no doubt compliments every woman he meets. “But overused.” I put out my palm. “Hand over your phone. I’ll take the picture.” He looks like he’s ready to yank the sling off his arm and throw it across the parking lot, but instead he gives in to my request. I put the card down on the hood of my car and snap the photo. After checking to make sure it’s a clear shot, I say, “Would you mind letting me know the cost of fixing your car before we go through insurance companies? I may pay out of pocket.”I hate the idea of depleting my savings account, but it might be the better option in the long run. “Sure.” His fingers brush mine when I give him his phone back, and a surge of heat charges up my arm. Our eyes lock. Hold. “I should also get your digits then—” he glances down at the photo “—Chloe Conrad.” His saying my name shouldn’t make me weak in the knees, but it does. We’re no longer strangers, not that he’ll remember me or give me any thought beyond fixing his car. I snag the phone back and type in my number. Then I call myself. My phone rings from the car. “Now I’ve got your number, too.” I never answer my phone if I don’t know who’s calling. “Would you like a name to go along with it?” “That’s okay.” I hand back the phone. His blue eyes dance. “You already know it.” “Why would I know it? Are you famous or something?” I turn to go before he can see the truth on my face. “I’ll wait to hear from you and uh, sorry about hitting you. I don’t think I said that.” “No worries.” I wish. Life isn’t exactly going to plan at the moment. At least my next job assignment should be easy. My boss said it was a perfect fit and I’d get the details on Monday. “Oh, and Chloe?” I pause before sliding into my car and look at Finn. “Nice try.” He tips his head toward my front bumper and winks. Actually winks! Normally I find winking cheesy, but not when Finn does it. His wink is like a calling card for let’s get naked and run our hands and mouths all over each other. Then it hits me. My license plate frame. It says Baseball…The Perfect Game. Shit. Can’t a girl catch a single break? “See you around, Webster.” No, he won’t. Not if I can help it.

TRZ - CR banner.jpg

The Red Zone, an all-new sexy, second chance romance from Amie Knight, is coming May 30th and we have the steamy cover!

Until now.

Release Blitz: Marriage for One by Ella Maise

Release blitz banner-2.jpg
Marriage for One, an all new contemporary romance by Ella Maise, is Live!
Marriage For One.jpg
Note to My Past Self : Do NOT get married to the handsome stranger.
Jack and I, we did everything backward. The day he lured me into his office-which was also the first day we met-he proposed. You'd think a guy who looked like him-a bit cold maybe, but still striking and very unattainable-would only ask the love of his life to marry him, right? You'd think he must be madly in love.
Nope. It was me he asked. A complete stranger who had never even heard of him. A stranger who had been dumped by her fiancé only weeks before. You'd think I'd laugh in his face, call him insane-and a few other names-then walk away as quickly as possible. Well…I did all those things except the walking away part.
It took him only minutes to talk me into a business deal…erm, I mean marriage, and only days for us to officially tie the knot. Happiest day of my life. Magical. Pop the champagne… Not. It was the worst day. Jack Hawthorne was nothing like what I'd imagined for myself.
I blamed him for my lapse in judgment. I blamed his eyes, the ocean blue eyes that looked straight into mine unapologetically, and that frown on his face I had no idea I would become so fascinated with in time.
It wasn't long after he said I was the biggest mistake of his life that things started to change. No, he still didn't talk much, but anyone can string a few words together. His actions spoke the loudest to me. And day after day my heart started to get a mind of its own.
One second he was no one. The next he became everything.
One second he was unattainable. The next he seemed to be completely mine.
One second I thought we were in love. The next it was still nothing but a lie.
After all, I was Rose and he was Jack. We were doomed from the very beginning with those names. Did you expect anything else?

Excerpt:
“Please face each other,” the officiant said, and I followed his instructions like a robot. Feeling numb, I let Jack reach for my other hand, and when his fingers gave mine a tiny squeeze, this time I met his questioning eyes. I swallowed, tried to ignore the little jump my heart gave and offered him a small smile. He was truly striking in a cold, calculating sort of way. I’d be lying if I said my heart hadn’t given a small jump the first time I’d laid eyes on him. Completely involuntarily. He had the strong-and-silent thing down pat. His equally striking blue eyes dipped to my lips and then came back to my eyes. When I felt him slowly push a ring onto my finger, I looked down and saw a beautiful wedding band with a half-circle of round diamonds staring back at me. Surprised, I looked up to meet his eyes, but his attention was on my finger as he gently rolled the ring back and forth with his thumb and index finger. The sensation was as alien as it could get. “It’s okay,” I whispered when he didn’t stop playing with it. “It’s a little big, but it’s okay.” He let go of my hand and the ring then looked at me. “I’ll take care of it.” “There is no need to do that. This is fine.” I didn’t know if Jack Hawthorne ever smiled. So far—the three whole times I’d seen him—I hadn’t been a witness to it, at least not a genuine smile, but I would have assumed if he was marrying someone he was in love with instead of me, there would at least be a small playful grin on his lips. He didn’t look like the grinning type, but surely there would be a hint of it. Unfortunately, neither one of us was the picture of a happy newlywed couple. I reached for his hand to put on his wedding band, but call it nerves, clumsiness, or a sign, if you will—before I could even touch his hand, the cheap, thin ring slipped from my shaky fingers and I watched it fly away from me in slow motion. After the surprisingly loud clinking sound it made when it hit the floor, I ran after it, apologizing to no one in particular, and had to drop to my knees so I could save it before it rolled under the ugly orange couch. Although the light blue dress I had chosen to wear was by no means short, I still had to put one of my hands on my butt to cover myself so I wouldn’t flash everyone as I caught the damn thing before I had to crawl on my knees. “I got it! I got it!” I yelled a little too enthusiastically over my shoulder, holding the ring up as if I had won a trophy. When I saw the unimpressed expressions around me, I felt my cheeks turn a bright shade of red. I dropped my arm, closed my eyes, and released a very long sigh. When I turned around on my knees, I noticed that my ringless, almost husband had made it to my side, already offering his hand to pull me up. After I got back on my feet with his help, I dusted off my dress. Looking up to his face, I belatedly noticed how stiffly he was holding himself—jaw clenched, the muscle tick definitely back. Had I done something wrong? “I’m sorry,” I whispered, thoroughly embarrassed, and got a curt nod in response. The officiant cleared his throat and gave us a small smile. “Shall we continue?” Before he could drag me back, I discreetly leaned toward my soon-to-be-maybe husband and whispered, “Look, I’m not sure about…you look…” I paused and released another long breath before gathering enough courage to look straight into his eyes. “We don’t have to do this if you’ve changed your mind. Are you sure? And I mean really, really sure you want to go through with this?” His eyes searched mine as we ignored the other people in the room, and my heart rate picked up as I waited for his answer. As much as I was reluctant to do this, if he’d changed his mind, I’d be screwed six ways to Sunday and we both knew that. “Let’s get this over with,” he said eventually. That was all I got. Lovely.
About Ella:
I’m a big dreamer. And that’s how it all started for me, really. Reading and dreaming. I love nothing more than to escape real life to find those very few magical moments in a book. I love how it has the power of stealing your worries away, putting a smile on your face even when smiling is the last thing on your mind. Crushing on fictional characters is also another bonus. Through my words, if I can manage to make even one-person smile, it means I’ve done my job well.
Writing became my world and I can’t imagine myself doing anything other than creating new characters and telling their stories. You know how some things simply makes your heart burst with happiness? A really good book, a puppy, hugging someone you’ve been missing like crazy? That’s what writing does to me. And all the hard work, all the sleepless nights, all the anxiety that comes with publishing…everything is worth it at the end.
