My Review:
| Wow...After finishing Surrender, I was literally speechless. This book has an entirely different feel than the other Harris Brother books. While I enjoyed and really liked the others, I completely fell in love with this book. If you are new to the Harris Brothers, here’s a little recap. Four gorgeous Brits that are all football (soccer) players. Each has had their own book, Challenge-Camden, Endurance-Tanner, Keeper- Booker. We meet these gorgeous larger ham life characters in That One Moment, which follows their sister Vi. Surrender is the oldest brothers book, Gareth. I’ve been most excited to read his book. He lives a few hours from him family, so is not there for day to day, but is not any less involved in their lives. Gareth has been a mystery to me the entire series. I feel like I’ve been waiting so long for his book, and it was definitely worth the wait. You’ll see so many different sides to him, and it’s impossible not to love him. You’ll cry, you’ll laugh. You will hurt and at the end you will be so damn angry at Amy! But I promise it will be so worth it! This is truly a book that you must read! If you haven’t read the previous books, it’s not problem. You can read this as a stand-alone but you will absolutely enjoy it and understand Gareth so much more if you read the other Harris Brother books! |
