Strike One-My mother named me Theodore after her favorite chipmunk.
Not cool, Mom.
I‘ve spent most of my life answering to Teddy, because I couldn’t make Theo work.
Except for here. College. The place where all bets are off, and I’ve managed to redeem myself.
There’s only one problem, my new roommate, Troy, is football royalty and looks like he stepped off the set of an Abercrombie shoot.
Doesn’t matter, I cook a mean breakfast for his panty parade, and we get along well.
And anyway, this year I got the girl. And she’s perfect.
That’s right. Theodore Houseman, former band geek, now marching band rock star has finally landed the girl of his dreams.
Everything is perfect.
That is, until Troy takes a good look at her.
I’m not going down without a fight. As a matter of fact, I’m not going down at all. As glorious as these days may be for my all-star roommate, Laney is my end game.
I may not know much about play strategy, but I’ve been the good guy my whole life. I’ve been listening and I know exactly what women want. Framed in a picture standing next to me, Troy may seem like Mr. Perfect, but he’s underestimating the guy on the right.
Spoiler alert: In this story, the underdog is going to win.
Wow!!! I’ve been looking forward to The Guy on the Right ever since I’ve read the synopsis. OMG was it so freaking good!! This is the first rom com by Kate Stewart that I’ve read. The last book by her I was was Someone Else’s Ocean which was drastically different. She definitely has talent to right such completely different books!
The characters in the book are wonderful. The banter, humor and all around heartfelt scenes will make you love this book. Theo and Laney are both funny and thoughtful. Theo is THE guy that you hope to meet and you’ll absolutely fall in love with him. He’s had he heart broken in the past for being the “nice guy”. Gah!! My poor Theo. Laney has her own set is insecurities that she needs to overcome.
The writing is flawless! These characters are so well developed and lovable. I made the mistake of starting this book at 11pm and couldn’t put it down until I finished. I’m a sucker for rom coms and this one topped the charts.

Blog Tour: Defying Gravity by K.K. Allen
Their greatest risk was the one they never took …
Defying Gravity, an all-new emotional sports romance from USA Today bestselling author K.K. Allen is available now!
This book was so much more than I was expecting. Plus to really get the entire emotion journey, I absolutely recommend reading Falling from Gravity first! It’s a complete free prequel.
These characters are so, so relatable. Tobias completely captured my heart. He is so full of love and vulnerability. It is impossible not to love him. He’s had his world completely shattered and loses focus on what’s important to him. His relationship with Amelia wonderful to watch grow. Amelia work her huge heart and dreams that she’s had for years.
I loved how real this book is. It shows us so many side to real scenarios. What Amelia endures is so heartbreaking but eye opening. She handles everything thrown at her and she’s even stronger for it.
This is a beautiful story about second chances. Second chances in love, dreams and life. It’s a bit of an emotional rollercoaster. But in such a way that you’ll come out the other side with a smile. These characters are fighters and don’t give up.
It’s skyrocketed to my favorite book by K.K. Allen. Her writing is wonderful as always, and the world she’s created here is off the charts special!
Release Blitz+Review: Southern Gentleman by Jessica Peterson
Southern Gentleman is a super sweet accidental baby book! It’s the third is a series of standalones. You do not need to read the first two to enjoy it.
While I describe it as super sweet, that’s not how Greyson and Julia start. There is so much anger and dislike, that possibly masks the all consuming lust these two have for one another. Little words but fierce passion describes their encounters in the beginning.
While a baby may throw them together, they each begin to know that other and that’s where the sweet comes in. These characters are so independent and strong in their own right. I loved how they try to look past their outer layers and walls and see who they are underneath.
There’s so many great, supportive secondary characters. Some we’re seen before while others are new.
Jessica’s writing is so seamless and her characters have wonderful growth. The story sucks you in from the very beginning!
Blog Tour: Wait for Me by K.L. Grayson
Omg!! Just wait until you meet Nora and Gray..
This sexy single dad story will make you swoon. From the very beginning I loved this story. Nora is a teen star trying to make the transition to adult (not THAT type of adult lol) Star. She wants to be viewed and grown up. Grayson is a single dad to the cutest 3 kids.
It’s really impossible not to love Nora. She’s sweet and genuine. Even though she’s a super famous, rich young woman, no of it has gone to her head. She loves those close to her and it shows. Grayson and her hit it off immediately. I love the way they get along so perfectly. And his kids are the sweetest! Nora has a way with them that will just melt your heart.
I loved this book! Wait for Me is truly a must read that you won’t want to put down.

This is a novella in the Bailey series!
Oh how I missed the Baileys!! This novella is short and sweet. It catches us up with this super additive family for the wedding of Austin and Holly!!
The Bailey’s are of my newest reading addictions! This family is nutty, funny and so loyal to each other.
There will be laughter, eye rolls and of course love. We got to hear from so many different POV, which was great! It’s absolutely the wedding of the year for me!

Blog Tour: Making Up by Helena Hunting
"I LOVED both Cosy and Griffin! This story was ABSOLUTE PERFECTION!"- Kendall Ryan, New York Times bestselling author
Making Up an all-new laugh-out-loud romantic comedy from New York Times bestselling author Helena Hunting is available now!
I feel like it’s been so long since I read a Helena Hunting book! I’m seriously kicking myself for not diving into the Shacking Up world sooner. I loved Making Up!! Griffin Mills is so adorable. He’s sweet, kind, a little awkward but oh so freaking sexy!!
Griffin and Cosy meet under odd circumstances at Cosy’s work, which make Griffin extremely uncomfortable but it’s so funny to watch him squirm. Cosy and Griffin have Instant chemistry. They fit
Together so perfectly and have the best relationship.
It’s funny and sweet! I couldn’t put the book down and read it in one sitting. I’m definitely going back and reading the other books in this series. Helena is a master at the sweet, rom coms that you’ll never want to end!
Excerpt:
We’re a couple of minutes away from my apartment, which also means we’re almost at the end of our date. End-of-date protocol often means a goodnight kiss. And I’ve eaten onions. Lots of them. What the hell was I thinking? I feel around in my shorts pocket, hoping I have a random stick of gum. I find a tiny square packet and pull it out, along with an old tissue. I shove that back in my pocket and sigh with relief as I carefully open the Listerine Pocketpak. There’s one strip left. I pop it in my mouth, wishing I had water since my mouth is dry and I’m suddenly super nervous. Griffin pulls up in front of my apartment building. I swallow a bunch of times, trying to get the strip to dissolve on my tongue and glance out the tinted window, seeing it from his perspective. I don’t live in a bad part of town, but I sure as hell wouldn’t leave this car sitting out here for any length of time unless I wanted it keyed or stripped down. Griffin shifts into park and turns to me, one hand resting on the back of my seat near the headrest. “I had a great time, Cosy.” “Me too, thanks for dinner.” I tried to fork over my share, but he was quick on the credit card draw. “It was my pleasure.” He leans in the tiniest bit, a nonverbal cue that he’s going in for a kiss. I mirror the movement, giving him the go ahead. My stomach flutters in anticipation. I exhale slowly through my nose. Even though the Listerine strip should be doing its job to mask the onions, I don’t want to ruin the moment by breathing that in his face. His fingertips skim my jaw, and I close my eyes. And then his lips brush my cheek. I wait for them to move a couple of inches to the right, but after what feels like a lot of seconds—and is probably only a few—I crack a lid. Griffin is still close, a wry smile on his lips and a smolder in his eyes. “Seriously, that’s it? A kiss on the cheek?” His smile widens, making his eyes crinkle at the corners. He’s nothing like the guys I usually end up on dates with. College boys don’t take things slow. If I were out with one of the guys from school, I’d be sitting in a beat-up Civic with some stupid music playing, and he’d be all over me with his tongue halfway down my throat, copping a feel. “I thought all the onions you ate were the equivalent to garlic for vampires.” Griffin fingers my hair near my shoulder. I’d really like him to finger something else. Wait. I mean I’d like to feel his hands on me. Not in my pants. Okay, maybe I’d like them in my pants, but not after date number one. “I wasn’t thinking, and I really like onions. A lot. In hindsight, it’s not a great date food. I feel kinda dumb. And I guess at first I wasn’t so sure about you. How was I supposed to know you’d actually be kind of normalish?” “Normalish?” “Well, you drink club soda on purpose, so you can’t be all there.” I tap his temple. Griffin circles my wrist with his fingers and drops his head, lips brushing over my knuckle. “We can’t all be perfect, now, can we?” “I suppose not, and perfect is boring.” “That it is.” He hums against my skin, and I feel it through my entire body. “I would like to try that kiss again, if you’re still interested.”About Helena
