Blog Tour: The Roommate Agreement by Emma Hart
Let your homeless best friend stay with you, he said. Being roommates will be fun, he said. It's only temporary, he said.
He never said I'd fall for him.
The Roommate Agreement, all-new hilarious and romantic comedy from New York Times bestselling author Emma Hart is available now!
My Review:
No one does rom coms quite like Emma Hart! They are always hilarious! They give those rom com movie feels!
Jay and Shelby have been friends for years and they definitely have that life long banter going. Shelby can make you laugh all by herself. She’s mildly crazy at times lol!! She’s a writer so she can get pretty nutty when she’s on a deadline. Her personality is great!
I loved watching these two interact. Plus add in their parents and best friends? Soo good!!
Loved it!!
Excerpt:
Shelby shut the door with a click and peered over at me. “What are you writing? If it’s permission to use the feather duster as a sex toy, the answer is no. Unless you buy your own, but if you haven’t figured out where the laundry room is yet, I doubt you’ll find where to buy one.” She was as funny as a car crash, this one. “Hilarious,” I drawled. “No, I’m making amendments as I go. I added a new rule.” “You added a new rule?” She raised one dark eyebrow and walked over, hovering over me. “All right, what is it?” “Decent clothes must be worn. Do you know how many times I wake up early on a morning to open the gym and find you basically in your underwear in the kitchen?” “Basically in my underwear? Who are you seeing in the kitchen? I wear shorts and a tank top at the very least.” “Yes, but the shorts barely cover your ass, and you’re sure as hell not wearing a bra.” She paused, eyes glittering as she said, “And why are you looking at my ass and my boobs?” That was an excellent question. “Because there’s nowhere else to look!” I rushed out before my stupid cock could get any ideas. “Look, waking up in the morning can be challenging for a guy.” She stared at me. “I don’t need to get up for a coffee with… you know.” I motioned to my groin. “And see you half-clothed.” She flicked her hair over her shoulder and walked to the kitchen, turning her back to me. “Why does it matter? I’m your best friend. I hardly think your little friend is remotely interested in whether or not I’m wearing a bra.” Yeah, well, he is. “Fine. If I have to wake up and see your perky nipples prancing around the kitchen, I’m going to stroll around in my underwear so you can get a good view of my morning glory.” She spun, lifting up a finger. Her cheeks were flushed, and she had to swallow before she could speak. “My nipples do not prance. They are not horses.” I grinned. “Also, I have no desire to have anything to do with your morning erection, much less get a good view of it, thank you very much.” “Have I told you that you’re cute when you blush?” “Have I told you that you’d be a cute dead guy?” I laughed, leaning back on the sofa. “C’mon, Shelbs. We need to respect each other’s privacy. You don’t want to see my cock hard over your breakfast, and I don’t want to see your nipples standing to attention when I make a coffee.” She sighed. “Why did I ever let you move in again?” “Because I was going to be homeless and you’re the best friend ever?” “Mm.”Blog Tour: The Hardest Route
The Hardest Route, an all-new emotional and romantic standalone from A.S. Teague is available now!
I loved this book so much!! This is the first book I’ve read by A.S. Teague. I loved her writing. The Hardest Route is the perfect example of co-parenting. It’s part Friends to love with a bit of an age gap. Brook and Griff are complete perfect for each other from the very start, but their lives are in very different places. Griff is just starting his NFL career while Brooke is so dedicated to hers. After their one night stand, they get an unexpected surprise. They excel at co parenting. Their relationship as friends is better than their relationship with other people. They are so close. Watching these character realize what’s in front of them is so great. There are laughs and tears but this story will leave you with a smile on your face. I loved it!! 5 star read for me!! |

Excerpt:
Burying the hatchet wasn’t an option in my family. Even if I wanted to, which I didn’t, it wasn’t allowed. My dad would disown me completely and make me change my last name before he ever forgave a Russo. Glancing across the competition space, I spotted James, his dark hair framing his two-week-old stubble as he smiled at a group of women, who, instead of working their own wine booths, looked all too willing to leave and take him to bed if he asked. Not that I cared what James did in his bed or with whom, but damn that facial hair. It would be the death of me. I’d spent one too many nights dreaming of the way it would feel as he dived between my thighs or as he kissed me, brushing across my cheek. That man sure knew how to keep his beard in check—always perfectly trimmed, fading just right toward the top where it met his hairline. It annoyed me as much as it turned me on, which was saying a lot since James was the most annoying human in existence.Cover Reveal: Heartthrob by Robin Bielman

Wow!!! Dax is the perfect man wrapped up in a sexy package! Sweet and considerate! Hot and sexy!! He’s definitely someone you’d want to take home to your mom. And because he’s a man’s man your dad would love him too!! Lol. I adored his relationship with his family. Darcy was the perfect match for him. She was so strong yet sweet. And I loved how she wasn’t the usual type of woman Dax went for. This slow burn friends to lovers story was so good! It also has me racing to go read Ditch for Ivy and Becker’s story! |

New Release: Advice From A Jilted Bride by Piper Rayne
What’s a girl to do after being ditched at the altar by text message? That’s right. Text. Message. How does she pick up the pieces and move on? I’m no Dear Abby but here’s a little free advice… Advice #1 – First, purge your apartment of all things him—by tossing his belongings off the balcony. Advice #2 – Do not, I repeat do not, throw anything out into the hallway because you’ll injure your hot new neighbor. Advice #3 – When said neighbor brings over Chinese Food do not let him stay and keep you company. It’s awkward when you realize he’s your boss. Advice #4 – Accept his offer to help you with your side business but think twice before using a date to his sister’s wedding as collateral. Advice #5 – Investigate who your mystery neighbor really is. Don’t trust his word even if he’s the world’s best kisser. If you listen to nothing else, pay attention to that last one. It’s the most important and will save you a lot of heartache. Xo, LOVESICK IN LAKE STARLIGHT ADD TO GOODREADS

Omg! These Baileys get better and better! I’m officially in love with this family!
Brooklyn Bailey left at the alter.. After getting reading her point of view, I honestly believe Jeff was insane. How could anyone not love her? She’s just a genuinely nice person. Sweet and caring. Normally, heroines that are seemingly perfect annoy me. But Brooklyn is just likable. Her banter with her family and Wyatt. Seeing her interact with Reagan and just everyone.
Wyatt is also great. He’s not flawless but still so amazing especially with Brooklyn. He has conflict with his Dad and his life in New York is so much different that in Lake Starlight. But he fits in perfectly.
I loved this friends to lover story so much! I love that the family is always a major part of the story. I cannot get enough of these siblings!!

Blog Tour: Nothing Without You by Monica Murphy
I loved this short but sweet story. These characters were so great to read about. High school sweethearts that haven’t seen each other in many years. These two were absolutely made for each other. Their chemistry was still there after all those years apart.
Maisey and Tucker’s story was written so great. I wanted more! I love Monica Murphy’s writing and her forever series is one of my favorites by her.
It was such a great introduction to the Big Sky series.
