I freaking loved this Friends to lovers romance!! This entire series has been great!! I was so happy to get the youngest Stone brother’s story!! These are quick easy reads that you’ll definitely find yourself reading in one sitting..
Dylan has been friends with Serena from the time they were super little. I love how Serena wears her heart in her sleeve. She’s completely and utterly in love with her best friend because how she not be? He’s gorgeous, sexy, sweet and super smart.
I love how Erika Wilde’s story’s never drag. You become so immersed in the story you don’t even realize you’ve been reading for a few hours. I absolutely recommend this book!

Standing in the back of the elevator, Serena's warmth and scent wreaked havoc on Dylan's senses with every breath he took. He was still on edge from her rubbing up against him on the dance floor, and it didn’t help matters that her backside was inches away from finding out just how hot and bothered she’d managed to make him. He was so excruciatingly hard his dick throbbed for relief, which sadly it wasn’t going to get tonight, and he shifted his stance so his erection didn’t end up prodding Serena’s ass.
It seemed to take forever until they reached their floor, and they quietly walked down the hall toward their separate junior suites, which were located directly across from each other, with him and Eric on one side, and her and Chelsea on the other.
She retrieved her key card from the small purse she’d worn with the strap across her body so she didn’t have to hold the bag. He started to tell her good night as she waved the plastic card in front of the lock mechanism, but the faint sounds he heard coming from inside her room—unmistakable moaning, groaning, sex noises—had him blurting out, “Don’t open the door!” right as she pushed inside.
She sucked in a startled breath and froze as she belatedly realized what she’d just walked in on—their friends getting laid. With each other. Half-dressed, Eric was sitting on the couch in the living room area, with Chelsea straddling his lap, her dress hiked up to the tops of her thighs as they kissed and groped and moaned in pleasure, oblivious to the fact that they had an audience. Jesus, out of courtesy, the least they could have done was hang the do-not-disturb sign on the door.
“Oh, crap,” Dylan heard Serena rasp. Clearly flustered, she spun around, and in her haste to get out of the room, she slammed right into him as the door shut behind her.
The unexpected impact had her wobbling on her heels, and his hands automatically shot out to grab her arms, then hauled her close to keep her steady on her feet.
Big fucking mistake. Not only because her sweet, firm breasts were crushed against his chest and her body plastered to his, but the big, round eyes staring up at him in shock had nothing to do with what they’d just witnessed and everything to do with the stiff length of his erection tenting his pants that was now pressing insistently against her belly.
“Oh my God, are you turned on because you just saw . . .”
Her words trailed off, but he knew what, or whom, she was referring to. The easy answer was to say yes, even if it did make him look like a pervert, but the frustration he’d been dealing with all night was at its tipping point and overrode common sense.
“No, it’s because of you, Serena,” he said through gritted teeth, the filter on his words having gone AWOL. “I’ve been hard as a rock since you wiggled your ass against my dick out on the dance floor. I’m a man, you’re gorgeous and hot as hell, so yeah, I fucking want you.”
Time stood still as the truth spilled out of him, his heart racing in his chest at what he’d just revealed. Serena’s lips parted, her features etched at first with disbelief, then quickly shifting to hope and elation, then on to something more daring and courageous.
“It’s now or never,” he heard her whisper right before she wrapped her arms around his neck, pulled his head down to hers, and kissed him . . . not like a friend, but a sinfully sexy lover.
This couldn’t happen. Aly Martinez has a way with words that just suck you in the story from the very beginning. Her characters are always so great.
I loved Tanner! He is sexy but oh so sweet. Add in the fact that he’s a chef and I’m a goner. Lately, I’ve been obsessed with books and movies that include chefs and restaurants. When I first met Tanner in the Darkest Sunrise duet, I was definitely intrigued by him.
Rita is newly single and putting her with Tanner was the best thing ever! These two together was magically. Their wit and banter was so great to read. I love when I can read a book that gets emotional and heavy but then still have these parts that make me laugh.
I loved Across the Horizon so much! I had been waiting on pins and needles for Tanners book ever since the end of The Darkest Sunrise duet. While we don’t get a bunch of Porter and Charlotte, it was still great to get bits and pieces of them.

I shifted the phone to my other ear and asked her, “Did you just get in bed?”
“If, by bed, you mean carrying a glass of wine out back to swing in the hammock, maybe.”
I bit my bottom lip, my head falling back against the headrest. For most men, this would have been an innocuous statement. But for a hammock connoisseur like myself, this was the normal guy equivalent of her saying that she liked to give blowjobs during halftime.
“You have a hammock out back?”
There was a delay in her response, which was followed by a subtle kiss of her lips on what I assumed was a wine glass. “Don’t knock it until you try it. It’s one of the most underrated luxuries in outdoor furniture.”
“Oh, I’m not knocking anything. Rope or quilted?”
“Mayan, actually.”
“Oh, sweet heavenly baby Jesus, she’s beautiful and knows her hammocks. I’ve never been so turned on in my life.”
She giggled, pausing for another sip. “You know, if you leaked this hammock fetish to the press, you could probably increase demand by five million percent and singlehandedly lower the country’s unemployment rate.”
Okay, so at some point during the day, she’d figured out who I was.
But! Even with this knowledge, she was trying to avoid a date with me and was not elbow-deep in planning our televised wedding. This was a definite plus in my book.
“Yeah, but then, when I talked to beautiful women like yourself, I’d have no idea if the hammock was your idea or a ploy to impress me.”
“Jeez, that’s sad, Tanner,” she said, her sweet Southern accent like a wave rolling over my name.
I’d meant it as a joke, but it was the absolute truth when it came to dating. Early on in my career, I’d done a rapid-fire interview about my personal life. One of the questions had been: What would your ideal woman order on the first date? Truth be told, the only thing I hoped my ideal woman would order was something she wanted. I didn’t factor into that. But I’d been on my last question in my last interview of the last day of a month-long press tour. My face had hurt from fake smiling, I’d been in desperate need of a shower, a smoke, and sleep, and my mind had been mush, so I’d prattled off the first thing that had come to mind: shrimp and grits.
That one little answer somehow made it onto my Wiki page, and after that, every woman I’d taken out ordered shrimp and grits. One of them even had a shellfish allergy and nearly ended up in the hospital. And this insanity was not limited to women outside of the spotlight.
I’d once gone on a date with America’s princess of pop, Levee Williams. We’d hit it off at a charity event. For one of the most famous women in the world, she was a surprisingly nice girl, gorgeous, and funny as all get out. But the first time I took her out? One guess what she ordered.
I was at the end of my rope with dating and lost my freaking mind before storming out like an asshole. That night, as I was reporting shrimp and fucking grits as an error to Wiki, I noticed that her page listed it as her favorite food. I’d never had the balls to contact her again, and I once hid behind a palm tree on Rodeo Drive when I heard the clamoring of paparazzi calling her name. But that’s neither here nor there.
In short, while finding a woman was all too easy, dating was hard.
But that wasn’t about to stop me from trying with Rita.

After reading Fixing Her, I was really hoping that the next book in these standalones would be Leigh and Gabe’s story. I remember bits and pieces of Sam but nothing too memorable. Now I can say , I’m soo freaking glad that we got Sam next. I completely fell in love with this story.
Sam’s character was loyalty, sweet, sexy and without him realizing so freaking full of love to anyone who deserves it. His love and devotion to his dad will make even the coldest heart fill up with love. He’s just amazing.
Montana was the breath of fresh air that Sam needed in his life. She was a young free spirit that lived her life for her and no one else. So happy to just help other people it was impossible not to like her.
I read this book in one sitting! It was so great and I was unable to put it down!! Miranda Elaine’s writing it so great. But the scene stealer was Kermit! It made me want to drive down and get my own piglet.

“Fuck,” I cry out as we near the cabin. All afternoon it’s been drizzling but not enough to stop our day out by the water. We’re almost back when we hear the first bout of thunder.
It’s deafeningly loud but thankfully not too close . . . yet.
“We should hurry up. Pick up the pace, old man.” She jumps with each thunderclap.
“I could probably go a little faster if you weren’t on my back.” I look over my shoulder and her smile is from ear to ear.

“What are you talking about, sweets? Did lightning strike you?”
“No, Sam. Haven’t you ever watched a romantic comedy? If you are caught in the rain with someone you’re spending time with in a sexual way, then you are by law required to kiss.”
“It’s the law, is it?” I ask with one eyebrow raised. “According to romantic comedy movies?”
“Duh. Now, I know we are temporary. But I’m not sure how often you get stuck in the rain with someone you enjoy being naked with, but this is a first for me. On the chance that it’s the last time, I want my kiss.”
I feel a pain in my chest at the thought of her leaving. When we started it felt like we had all the time in the world to spend wrapped in each other, but with each passing day, I yearn to spend the next with her, but each one is one day closer to fall and her starting the life she deserves to live. Not one trapped in a small town where the man she’s with main focus has to be his handicapped dad.
I do what I need to do to make sure that when she leaves here she leaves forever dreaming of our time together. I completely devoured Wrapped In Love! I discovered Lexi Ryan books earlier this year. I’ve been in love with the Jackson boys ever since. All of them!!!
This is Brayden’s story. He’s the oldest. I’ve been waiting for his and Molly’s story, what feels like forever! The build up from the last book has had me in pins and needles throughout the entire wait. This book was sooo worth that anticipation. It was even better than I could imagine.
We got a look at Molly and Brayden’s night together, through flashbacks. I loved seeing a playful Brayden. He’s all kinds of sexy!!!
We also get to dive a little deeper in to Molly and the issues that she’s had because of her past. How she needs to move past things she’s done and realize how special she is.
I loved these two so much! They were perfect for each other. Both were guarded yet totally ready to fall for each other. They just both had to let their pasts go.
Another amazing book from one of my favorite series!!!

“Oh, and this box wasn’t labeled. Where do you want it?” Brayden pulls open the flaps of the box he set on the bed when he entered. “Looks like there are some washcloths in here. And . . .” He lifts a stack of washcloths and peers at the contents beneath. His eyes go wide. “Oh.”

My Review:
Tia Louise has written another fantastic book!! Make You Mine is definitely 5+ stars!! It’s a great second chance, brothers best friend romance. Grayson and Drew have cemented a place as one of my favorites of 2018!
Grayson is quiet, thoughtful and smart. He’s always been a natural protector, at least where Drew is concerned. I love him from the very beginning. He went through so much but came out so much stronger than he thought he could be.
Drew was a great character too. Unconditional love and compassion just radiates from her. From the love she has for her father, to her patients and of course Gray. I felt for her so much.
I loved everything about this book! The characters were great, the writing superb!!
